Hey just a quick question, is right for a ballast to run at a 100000 degrees centgrade i just hooked mine up for the first time today and its real hot..... Cheers..
ballasts run hot, yes, but 100,000 degress centigrade? that's dangerous bro, get some type of air circulation or cooling system for that ballast before it burns out or you burn your place down
my sunsystem 250w ran warm, but you could touch it and pick it up w/o burning yourself. i got a 400w hps from htgsupply.com and that thing gets really warm. too hot to touch. i run an 8" fan on it and that helps a bit.
