Hello I am a complete beginner and having trouble with my first set up. Just purchased a EP 600w hps magnetic ballast connected it to a cultiv8 600w digital hps lamp and when I turn on the power the ballast buzzes loudly and the light fails to turn on. Could it possibly be the fact the bulb says it's digital and the ballast is magnetic? When I purchased everything they knew I was an absolute beginner and stopped me from buying incompatible gear in the first place so I am assuming the set they sent me home with would work?
