I may be putting the cart before the horse but I am working on starting my first indoor grow but it's not at a location I will be at every day.i was brainstorming some ideas to make he grow less labor intensive and more automated. If you wont be there every day, a watering system is a great idea. It really sucks when you're busy but have to drop everything because it's time to water. All the time that mixing and watering takes is a real pain. I made this 20 gallon system for about $70. I used two $15 water pumps. One is for circulation, drawing from the bottom and spraying back in the top of the reservoir. The other is the feed to the plants, which is on a timer. I added a $12 air pump to bubble the water. For the cost, I feel really happy with my system. DIY all the way.

Thanks! It's just to add some more aeration to the reservoir to help keep the nutrient mix from getting stale and raise the o2 content for the roots. I don't know if its really necessary but it was an inexpensive upgrade.
