The problem with an automatic watering system is that in a soil grow, you run the risk of over watering......it's important to let the soil dry out and then water it good, rather than water on on a set schedule. The Autopot Self Feeding Planter Technology @ FUTUREGARDEN is a good auto watering system because it will only water when the soil becomes dry and needs watering. It also waters from the bottom which has benefits. As the plant uses the water in the soil, it pulls fresh oxygen in to root zone. Roots love oxygen. Then, when the Auto Pot waters the plant, it displaces the stale air, and the process is repeated again.
Unfortunately if you go with a system from Futuregarden.com, likely it will ship incomplete... and BEST OF LUCK getting your money back!
