Beginner stereo geek and I just "put together" my first set up. I had some Fisher speakers from the early '90s that my father gave me that were just sitting around so I wanted to put them to use, at least for now. I didn't have a receiver so I picked up an Insignia NS-AV511. I didn't want to buy anything too crazy at first and I got a pretty good deal on this one new. I also have a cheap Sony turntable for the time being. I was wondering what would be some good speakers, separate or sets, for a beginner that won't break the bank. And what would be a good turntable, new or old, at a decent price. Thanks in advance.
