A few years back, I saw some clips from an Asian (I think Japanese) lesbian drama, not sure if it was a movie or tv show, but I wanna say it's a movie. I can't find it for the life of me! It was about a young woman who falls in love with a prostitute. The prostitute herself seems like she sees men fairly frequently, and my guess was it was uncommon for a woman to pay for sex. This woman, however, obviously has a thing for the prostitute so she pays a few times for her 'company', but of course eventually wants more when their relationship begins to develop. (I'm pretty sure the feelings between them were mutual.) ** I remember the prostitute running to the bathroom to throw up after giving a blowjob to a client at one point, right before seeing the young woman. ** I also remember the prostitute going out to clubs and such, and being all "Waaah I've known no other life, etc.etc." If I remember correctly they went their separate ways, but I only saw bits and pieces on YouTube so I have no clue how it ends. I can't seem to find the videos, but it doesn't help that I know so little about the show/film. Now she also might not have been a prostitute exactly, I'm not sure how things like that work in Japan. She might have been an escort but I got the impression she wasn't too classy. She had a room in some hallway with a bunch of other rooms and a pimp, and people would come in and pay him, then go to the room of whomever they chose. Anyways, if someone has ANY idea what this could be, please let me know.
