Two days ago (March 19th), I got arrested for the first time. There was nothing to do as usual in my small ass town so my friends and I decided to drive around town and find something to do. We drove past this car dealership and noticed a cop car parked on the side of the road. Instantly for some strange reason, I knew right then and there we were getting rolled. We played it cool and drove the speed limit and made sure our music wasn't too loud but little to my knowledge, my friend had unpaid parking tickets. The cop turned his car on and booked it to catch up with us then to turn on his lights and pull us over. We sat there for a while and my friend (the driver) says to me "tonight may be interesting, I may have a warrant for my arrest". Sure enough, a second squad car pulls up. Here's where it gets interesting. One cop comes up to the car and asks to see our ID's. We comply and do so. 10 minutes goes by and the same officer comes over and asks us all to get out of the car so that he can search it while the other officer searches us. She found my pipe but somehow did not find my grinder or my pill bottle that wreaks of weed. Then i'm told to put my hands behind my back and am escorted to the back of the squad car. I'll sum it up and say the night ended with a $424 paraphernalia ticket. Thankfully I'm 19 and my parents were not called. But damn, handcuffs hurt like a bitch. Mind you I only smoke weed to assist with my severe condition of anxiety (I bite my fingernails subconsciously until they bleed. Smoking eliminates the biting completely). Fuck the police. As a wise man once said. "there are people who believe that the function of police is to fight crime. And that's not true; the function of the police is social control and protection of property." Any suggestions (besides the obvious dealing, job, sell shit etc.)? I am currently unemployed as my winter job is over now that it's not snowing. I need a job fast, and one that won't DT. My court date is not mandatory but I am still going to show up. Also, would anyone know how much the price will drop if I go to court? Wall of text hits you for over 9000. Sorry.

Did he have a reason to search you all? Does the warrant for arrest constitute a search? Seems kind of bullshit that he just pulled you guys out for no reason and performed a search.
