What does that mean? Do I used flattery as a tool to get what I want?

I say what I feel, and what I think. I'll give a girl a compliment if there's something about her that I appreciate, but I don't go around and try to flatter people. It's not my goal.

I'm pretty shy, but I like to compliment my friends on stuff, I guess because I appreciate friendship.

 

i compliment people if, in my mind, deserved to be complimented. I do not do it to get any personal gain. People somtimes just need to be complimented and if you do it to somone who never gets compliments i just like to think about how they think about that all day and it makes them feel good. which in turn makes me feel good...and i just realized i totally contradictid myself... but im ok with that
