Are these hermes bananas?

    Good news: I'm starting to see pistils. Bad news: These might be hermes.

    What do you guys think?

    No those are not hermed. Those are called bracts I think.

    Oops, I wasn't done. Anyway, is the plant in flower? If so in about 10 days, look in that spot for 2 little hairs poking out.

    It just started flowering, literally today.

    I already see a bit of a hair coming out of one of them.

    I just posted the exact same thing. I plucked one of them off and it looks like an undeveloped seed growing inside
