Are these bad?

    These the problem? They seem to dry out very fast, my guess is is the roots not maintaining moisture in them? On my 3rd run, haven't made it out if seedling stage in these same jiffy pots. I switched soil and made other adjustments and seeing same results, I'm starting to guess it's the pots?:confused:
     
  2. I wouldn't use those. I always use rapid rooters and they seem to do the trick. The rooters contain enough nutrients to get them going and then you can transplant them into bigger pots or what have you. How are you getting them started from the seed?
     
  3. I don't understand how cocoa fiber and drying out can be an issue - just water more. I can see the material change causing pH problems between the soil and the pots, so it wouldn't hurt to change to a different pot.
