Anyone Live in South Lake Tahoe ?

I was somewhere around there when I was about 8.

Constantly switch from swimming in a regular pool and jumping into a hot tub while it's snowing.

 

Yeah when you're drinking lol

Going from hot to cold increases circulation, and adding a blood thinner to that won't end well. It's a general rule not to do almost anything while drunk

 

You know what I mean. I take it drinking is already on your to do list

Heavenly is right there in the village.

 

I'm always really bored in SLT. I don't gamble or drink. The lake is beautiful, if I were you I would just ski as much as possible. Heavenly has an amazing view from the top.

Drive around the lake? Go to the North Shore and ski Squaw Valley? That's my favorite.

 

I used to drink. It's a nickname.
And I do drink occassionally, but it's so rare I just say I don't.

hell yea squaw valley is awesome, along with northstar. Board during the day, gamble/liquor/drugs at night.

 

It hasn't been Caesers for like 6 years, but if your food is free eat at the expensive restuaruant it has an excellent view. Yeah Heavenly is walking distance from there. I think MontBleu is the one where the last time I was there they had taken out a bunch of the black jack tables, they may be back for the tourist season, I know they are close to being bankrupt. The last time I was there was May of last year and everything was super dead but it's because the ski resorts were closed. I'm sure you can meet some friendly people and end up finding a good party or two.

There's a village where the Heavenly lift is, everything is ridiculously expensive. Are you going to have a car?

 

Squaw Valley is full of win. That's where I learned to ski. I love that place.
I haven't been to Northstar. I really want to take some snowboarding lessons but can't find anyone to go with me.

 

yea bro that makes 2 of us, I never seen so much snow here. Its better today though, they did a solid job at cleanin up the streets. Hope you have a killer time man.

whiskey- bein from chicago i learned to board in wisconsin/michigan, but my first trip to a "real" mountain was good ol squaw. I love it too, I feel like its my home away from home. Everytime I go to tahoe i make sure to at least get a few good runs in at the valley. Wish I was going this year, I woulda been more then happy to teach a fellow blade. You dont need lessons though, just start small and work your way up, I transitioned from skiing too and now I can 'board with the best of them. Theres nothin like standin on top of the mountain, lookin down at the lake...then shreddin the beautiful powder up. Snowboarding is my anti-drug. (but its even better when you bring a lil treat for the chair lift)

 

Dude the last time I went skiing I ate shit getting off the lift. BUT if you find yourself out this way next year, let me know, because I would love to go. I haven't been seriously skiing since I was 12 or so. I'm sure I suck at this point.
