Anyone know of some good video converters?

    I rip my dvd's up to my computer in avi format so I can put them on my blackberry, now I want to convert the avi files to wma files so I can stream them through my xbox.


    Only problem is, the program I was using to RIP the dvd's wont convert them to a different file format and my xbox wont read the avi format.

    Does anyone out there know of a good fille conversion program?

    Xilisoft Video Converter is prety good.

    I was going to say tmpgenc but I don't think that will convert to .wma


    I thought Windows Media Player converted to WMA?

    I use a free program called 'super'.

    I use VLC (video lan), i found a forum somwhere that showed me how to transcode. Just google it.
