I have an uncle who I've never met. He left the family or was disowned or something before I was born. My family never talks about him and I've never gotten a straight answer about what happened. Although knowing my family, when I find out it will turn out to be something really boring. Is there anything that your family refuses to talk about to each other or anyone else?
I have a half-brother somewhere in Jamaica. He's my dad's son. It took years for my dad to come out and tell us, and that's only because my mom insisted on it. We don't talk about it openly, even though I wouldn't mind getting to know the guy (the half-brother). He's still blood, y'know?
