Pretty much what the title says....anyone else experience it? I get it with vaporwave music or vaporwave backgrounds and some 80’s music....kind of looking to see other peoples experiences and takes on it and things that do it for them. Nostalgia for a time you’ve never known a homesickness for a place youve never been or lived with a longing and desire to be a part of it. So for example I hear certain songs that are just true die hard 80’s with a certain tune and it takes me back to an experience or gives me a feeling i was there but the real memory I dont have, it’s a fictitious experience but it makes you wish you were there and had lived it. I get it a lot when I listen to Appalachian folk music. Something about it makes me pine for the life I've never lived, enduring the hardships of the secluded mountain life.
