I was thinking if maybe using the t5 vertically and cutting out the reflector would be a good idea? Then it would be possible to put plants on either side. Has anybody tried this? The only doubts I have is light penetration. What do you guys think?
I've seen a couple of grows in which the grower had mounted the T5 rack to sit vertically, but they were on mothers, the catch is that even with T5's they still have their brightest centered on the middle of the tube, hence there is considerable light wastage ..better to use the T5 horizontally and throw in a few CFL's for the lower leaves. peace "V"
