Anybody miss the 2008 or older runescape?

    Now it's stupid and really complicated, but who enhanced staying up for hours on end playing it?

    There's a version of the game called 2007scape that you can play that is almost an exact replica of the game from 2007.

    I miss pre-eoc. I was on the 07 bandwagon but in reality it was only funny for the first couple days.

    I quit after they built the grand exchange I believe.. couldn't make money f*cking people over after.

    I played a lot up until 2006ish. Had a combat level 109 and everything, even a skill with level 99... So many hours wasted just trying to level up, lol.

    Ahh I remember running around in the wilderness with all my rune gear, killing other unfortunate players and taking whatever they happened to drop. I can only wonder how many hours I wasted on this game haha :p.

    I just went back to runescape recently to see what's changed and apparently I have to download the shit just to play? RS has changed so much, I honestly just miss the simplicity without having all the saftey nets for the kiddies always getting raped or scammed..kinda sad how it'll never be the same again.

    I miss it a little, I played pre-eoc. Was fun then everything started to change and I got sick of it.

    I play 2007 scape on and off, it's pretty awesome. My total level is like 1400 all by hand (not botted).

    so i just found this posted on runescape, in regards to the oldschool version. "As a little gift for you this Christmas we will be temporarily opening the F2P servers to everyone until the 31st December. There is no better time to tell your friends so they can join you this Christmas and take part in all the exciting events... or just take them into the Wilderness and do some PKing together.
