  1. the mind fuck and overall weird feeling i get from shrooms and salvia is just not for me

    anybody else like this?

  2. Psychadelics aren't for everyone. They are way to much for me to handle. I tried LSD & Shrooms, salvia, and dxm.

I don't like the feeling of not being able to control what I think, hear, and see.

    We're a very small minority.

  3. Yeah i know what you mnean but dont give up on all psychedelics. Salvia and shrooms are naturally gunna be a mind fuck, unless you take smaller doses.

Try some lsd before giving up hope. Its a much smoother, more controlable trip.

My first shroom expierience sucked at first, but I brought myself out of it (fetal position, really confused, etc. lol) If you get knocked down ya gotta get back up, ya know?
Ive dosed on shrooms(1-2 g) and LSD quite a few times now and it just gets better and better, me and a few friends have had some awesome, deep conversations while on shrooms and cid too.Good times for sure.
Like thebigd said though, psycadelics arent for everyone.

  5. I can kinda understand what you are saying. I will generally turn down any psychedelics even if they are free. I generally have a positive experience with them but find myself to be very sensitive to them as well. I am usually not prepared to be mindfucked and one must be. In this case, respect the what the universe tells you.

  6. yes we are

  7. sorry to hear that folks, i LOVE me some psychs but they must be respected and used at the right set and setting

  8. id rather eat a bar and chill then take a psychadelic and see flying monkeys.

  9. psychadelics are the shit...shrooms and lsd are my favorite drug behind mj

  10. I'd give LSD a shot, there seems to be less of a mind fuck on it then shrooms. I for one won't do shrooms anytime soon because of the mind fuckyness. Another suggestion is do it at a music festival. Best time to be on a psyc is...well when everyone else is on one psyc or another :smoking:

  11. I like psychedelics, especially cannabis. :D

    Dxm isn't a psychedelic....

  12. I love them.

Having that rush of anxiety, fear and total loss of control run thru your body all at once in a couple seconds is amazing. The feeling like youve been turned into playdoh and smeared on the wall is always an experience.

  13. A scheduled trip provides insight on the processes/models to the levels of neurological pattern.

I am in the slightly bigger minority, not "just getting fucked up."
I come back with what I desire.

  14. I very much enjoy psychedelics and I have gained a much greater understanding of many aspects of life through their use, but they are definitely not for everybody. I believe the main reason so many people have a hard time with psychedelics is because the general attittude of our society teaches people to think in a way that is totally contrary to the psychedelic experience. We are taught that everything you do has to have a specific purpose; you should either be making money, getting smarter so you can make more money, relaxing so you can be ready to make more money, etc. When people take psychedelics and experience a total lack of direction, purely existing with no specific agenda, the contrast compared to our normal way of living can be too much to handle.

The radical change in thought process that occurs under psychedelics also seems to be too much for some in contrast to our normal way of living, which is obvious from the numerous times I have heard psilocybin referred to as a "mind fuck." I find this change in thinking to be an incredible display of our brain's power, different thoughts race through the mind with intense clarity and then are gone of their own accord. Overall, from my experiences I believe the key to enjoying a psychedelic experience is to think of it only in terms of what it is, not how different it is from our normal way of life.
