Any Sparkeys On Here??

    WAS JUST WONDERING IF THE POWER COMPANIES CAN DETERMIN WHERE THE POWER IS BEING DRAWN FROM ON YOUR PROPERTY ...ie... can they pin point an outlet??

    What? No of course not. A line comes into your house, has a meter on it to record the total amount of power that goes in, and that's the extent of their knowledge.

    besides even if they could it doesnt mean anything! they cant go into your house when you all of a sudden add alot of wattage to one outlet. you could have installed a new home theater system for all they know.

    just had to ask b cuz was contemplating moving it to the shop where the welder n compressor run from....

    Just be careful not to put too much on one breaker or you might trip it.

    that was also my concern ... the breakers in the shop are heavier duty to support 120v welders and there are alot of 220v as well ......
    they'll probabally get moved... thanx GC :wave:
