Any other hip-hop producers or even MCs here?

    I'm sure there are, just curious who all on here is a hip hop producer or emcee. I've been making beats for a minute now, but I really only got into sampling last may and I got an MPC1000 in june and its been magic ever since.

    Nice beats I'm feeling them. You into Madlib and Dilla? How bout OH NO? If not check out: Dilla - Donuts, Madlib - Beat Konducta Vol 1-2 Movie Scenes and Vol 3-4 Live in India and OH NO - Oxperiments. Those are probably my favorite beat CD's.

    I suck at both, but I try anyways.

    I need some more money to get better at producing (and time) and some more flow to be better at freestyling.

    The closest thing that I do is make a lot of trip-hop tracks.

    I been messin around with Fruity Loops lately. Im horrible at beatmaking but its a fun way to pass the time.

    Yeah if grass city wants to get down for like a collab that'd be cool hahaha... I added another beat to my myspace also if you guys wanna check that shit out

    I'm about to really get into production soon. I like the MPC 1000 but i prefer MV 8800 just because u can play with it more and you can chop up beats easier.

    If thats your reason for preferring the MV8800 I wouldn't get it if I were you. The MPC and the MV both have strength and weaknesses....
