Recently reinstalled W7 on my laptop. A program I installed indicates most components need driver updates; are there any programs that detect what needs updating and preferably downloads said updates?
Intel update if you have a core chip. I think AMD has something similar. Also, Windows updates looks for new drivers for you as well when it can.
I recommend going to your manufacturers website. Most of the mass driver programs suck, and a lot will have adware or spyware attached. To top it off, they dont really work worth a crap either if you have a hard to find driver.
