    He watches mainly pre-1960's films, The Criterion Collection, and Documentaries I've truly enjoyed watching a lot of the stuff he puts on.

    And aren't most animes based out of Japan and South Korea?

    Even before the site started fucking up you should have been able to see my giant fucking anime avatar.

    Chinese cartoons is a tongue in cheek ironic way to say anime among anime fans.

    There is no plural to anime, it's like deer. Not "animes"

    If you want recommendations ask for something within a genre or give a couple examples. Better yet, start watching what is currently airing and find your own taste.

    Please post in the actual anime thread. Everything that has been mentioned here is incredibly entry level or shit you should have already seen.

    Also stop being a pleb OP and watch Brotherhood. It's good.
