America

  1. First off, I'm definitely smoking a fucking bowl after I type this. Second off, I did have a follow up part, and it was the second part without stating it.

When I type things out in ALL CAPS, it's to point out the RIDICULOUSNESS being inserted into this thread by you as of late. You can't keep ON TOPIC at all!!!

I don't know why you ever brought up the US being able to afford healthcare as a whole for all it's citizens. That wasn't the topic and it's making all my responses longer and more complex without having to be. Example: "You're argument was bad because america isn't a socialist country and wouldn't have to be to achieve universal healthcare and many other large scale social programs." It's off topic; your argument makes no sense because it is out of context.

"I'm saying that whether or not some socialist country has universal healthcare and a 50% income tax (I don't know of any btw) that wouldn't necesarrily be true for us. It's obvious to me that this country could afford universal healthcare without a 1/2 income tax."

Yes it's true, we can affond healthcare for all our citizens if rich people would give up their money. Of course man, that is common sense and off topic from what this was supposed to be about.

Seriously: All I ever wanted to say is US = 30% income tax with no unconditional healthcare, Socialist = 50% income tax, with healthcare for all. Some how you tried to turn this around and create some type of debate(and I'm still not quite too sure what exactly we are debating!?!?!).

Okay, that's it for now. I'll be back with more stone cold stats for ya.

  2. Stone cold facts? Here's one. Norway (my homecountry of choice) is considered pretty socialist. And we pay 33% taxes. We pay a part of healthcare ourselves but when we reach a certain expense, the state takes over.

Oh...another one. In Germany (my native country) they pay even less taxes, they're not socialist. But ALL helthcare is free.

And btw...one point should be that the american gouvernment spends waaayyy too much money for their military and space programs instead of thaking care of their inhabitants that are not so well off.

  3. this page shows spains income tax rates going as high as 45% http://www.andalucia.com/law/incometax.htm

and a different page, http://worldfacts.us/France.htm , had this to say about France, wjo has a socialist party, "The tax burden remains one of the highest in Europe (43.8% of GDP in 2003). The current economic slowdown and inflexible budget items have pushed the 2003 deficit to 4% of GDP, above the EU's 3% debt limit."

  4. Under the Clinton Administration, we had allies left and right. Now how many allies do we have now? I'm sorry but this administration needs to go.

  5. sep 11 one of the worst attrocities ever? what about america bombing hiroshima and nagasaki?

  6. Ah, btw, crystals...we have way better wages, too. Right now I'm at work. Gonna sit the whole night on me arse'n watch video. And make over 20 bucks an hour. Minus 35% would be like 13$/hour. Plus health care.

Dude, yes they have a socialist party. They have a republican, environmental, left wing, leftleft wing, etc, too. They got over 20 parties. And haveing one socialist party doesn't make'em a socialist country.

  7. Well there are no true socialist countries, so I used ones with socialist parties who would be considered somewhat socialist if that party was elected. Socialism would die in our capitalist world.

  8. Therefore France cannot be a socialist country ?

  9. That would mean the whole of Europe. Any country over here has at least one small socialist party.

But ya should have arrested me earlier when I talked about Norway, haha. We're just so bloody rich because of the oil.

  10. As a white male from america I believe I have been given many opportunities in my life, because of many before me fought for me and my fellow americans. However, I need to address the fact that if there are ties to Hussein for 9-11 please shed some light. His ways of treating his people were not right, but that has nothing to do with the attack. I firmly believe that Operation Iraqi Freedom should be called Operation Bush/Cheney Family Finances.

  11. England and the rest of the UK doesn't have 50% income tax but we do have free healthcare for all, as many American health tourists will tell you.
One of the biggest problems in the British health service is the amount of people who come here from abroad knowing that the system is open to abuse, that includes a good proportion of Americans.

  12. ditto.

Imagine if you were a teenager, and your parents highly suspected you of doing...heroin, even though you don't. No matter what you say, they're hellbent on you doing heroin, and they're getting the to police conduct searches three times a week in your room. After the...hundreth search (with no sucesses for the parents' inquiry), wouldn't you (and the Police, might I add) get a little tired of their stupid searches?

  13. Man, you gotta realize you ARE paying for the healthcare! Only the poor shits that don't make any money truely benefit a lot from the "free" healthcare. You pay for it in taxes, don't be so naive.

  14. Whether or not you're right I just want to mention that without free healthcare I would be a crippled hunchback right now (I still have back problems but they're not nearly as bad as they could be).

  15. It's my bad man, I forgot your background and I didn't mean to come off as an insensitive shit.

  16. well the last thing i wanna to is go trolling for pity, I'm just saying that some people really do need it
