America has one of two choices

Discussion in 'Politics' started by bkadoctaj, Feb 26, 2009.

  1. 1. Legalize weed and begin the path to honest and frank discussions with the American people about EXACTLY what our government has been up to. If it embarks on this path, wars and peacekeeping will no longer be acceptable means for interfering in the lives of non-Americans. We will have the opportunity to lead by example, bringing the world into a more open, free, and constructive path to sustainable human existence. We will need to address things like UFOs, drug laws, non-competitive economics, free healthcare for all, and the meaning of ownership. We must no longer have privilege. We must abolish the electoral college, accept that sovereignty only applies in cases where human rights are being respected (both POLITICAL AND ECONOMIC). Any backsliding will lead to the following, the alternative future:

    2. Maintain laws against marijuana, reduce the credibility of "government for the people, by the people, and of the people" by OVERTLY MISINTERPRETING the US Constitution, and continue the bitter bipartisan façade of "polarized political rhetoric" (either for us or against us) when in reality both parties' elites are working together to gerrymander every political office into a "safe" seat (effectively stripping the American people of any potential for having a say in this theoretical republic-democracy). This is the road to authoritarian oligarchy and it will lead the world into a new era of chaos, at a time when we cannot afford the disorder that would result.

    These are the two options.

  2. Dude, we got to think about the children.

  3. Yeah, think about yourself too. You are a child basically if you're early 20s.

  4. I am just trying to hammer the one point all anti-drug fascists got now, we got to think about the children.

  6. We're on option 2. It's more profitable than honesty.

  7. Agreed... if it passes, we're all thought-criminals. The war for our minds will be OVERT. And they don't give a fuck.

  8. yep if that does pass we alll are screwed.. grasscity would have the majority of it's members locked away

  9. This sounds like the Chinese internet deal where they control all of google searches and such.

I think just like in China people will just find ways around it, whether it be through surfing anonymously or what have you.

  10. Thank god that we got proxy. :hello:

  11. Legalize and tax. Obama should this, if not solely as part of his economic policy. As a means to bring in additional funds, and cut down on the deficit. If he did this, this would truly be "change".

  12. Thank America proxies are legal still.

  13. Could happen. :)
