It's all about the money. If pot smokers formed a PAC and gathered up a few hundred million, we could pass or protect any legislation we want. But "the will of the people" is going against money from Big Pharm and Big Tobacco.

These politicians keep forgetting they were ELECTED and WORK for the PEOPLE! The people of Colorado should RECALL a few of these of these jerks to remind them of that fact!
This is ridiculous. Both CO and WA are attempting to tax it to the point that the systems will fail because the final price will be too high. Why pay $300 when you can get it from the street for $160? This automatic repeal thing takes the cake though - a blatant case of the govt trying to extort tax dollars.
