I just found this box of records in my uncles attic, we listened to them for a long time and then he let me keep them for my apartment! I am so excited right now. So far my favorites are abbey road, van halen (x2), the eagles (hotel california pictured), steve miller band, led zeppelin, pink floyd (meddle and DSOTM)
Sweet indeed. Does the Akai allow you to use the turntable to send the music to your computer? If so you could record some of those.
That would be very cool, I hate audio compression some times. The akai is on;y a midi controller though, just there to be out of the way
I see. You can run the turntable through a pre-amp (or stereo system), then use the Aux out to a stero mini plug into your computers audio in. I think the program I have (it's free) to remove any pops or crackles is Audigy.
