Thinking of attending school again and declaring myself as an English major. Pro's/con's of majoring in this field? I am unsure of my writing skills; should I reconsider applying myself in another field, then? I'm not quite sure what my intentions would be in this field or the implications of such a degree, but I'm ready to apply myself toward a better career. I'm already planning on speaking with a guidance counselor on campus and exploring other major possibilities. Philosophy is a possibility, but every time I consider this I tell myself, "HAH. What an unrealistic possibility of decent employment without a masters degree or higher." Thoughts and input? Advice or wise words? I appreciate it.
