    Just checked steam and they have Rift for $7.50 for Today's deal.

    This game any good? Looks like your normal WoW type MMO.

    I like it a lot more than WoW.

    A few reasons why

    7 months old vs 7 years old (new car smell)
    Graphics aren't everything, I agree, but damn Rift looks good.
    The dynamic events that can happen anywhere in the world, Rifts, Invasions.
    Major content patches every couple months instead of several months.
    Class system is nice. I.E. you can mix a pyro mage, with a warlock, and a frost mage's CC.

    Countless other things I like more about Rift than WoW. Like being able to trash talk the opposite faction in game.

    I played rift way back in CB and on but never got it for release..I don't know, kinda burned out on the generic MMO style. best MMO out right now tho
