I was watching like a music video of IZ - Somewhere Over the Rainbow last night and got to thinking. We are constantly amazed and blown away by scenes we see here on Earth like sunsets, forests, etc. How crazy would it be first setting eyes on everything here on Earth as an alien? lol
Probably about like the first human to step onto another inhabited world will feel. Imagine seeing an alien version of the Serengeti, or the Amazon.
I feel like it would be way more intense since like the vegitation and colors might not at all be familiar.
I would think it depends on where they look. If they noticed the huge islands of garbage clogging up 25% of the worlds oceans, the acidic chemical bogs surrounding strip-mining operations, and the huge swaths of clearcut tropics, they might not think too highly of it.
