Algae in watering jug

    Hello, I had a feeling it would happen... Is it harmful for my water to have a little algae in it? I had my watering jugs next to my plants under the light and one of the jugs grew some algae. I have now moved the jugs so no more probs can i use the water or should i dump it and re ph some water?

    I’d just start over. Easy enough to refill with new.

    Fill with 30/70 bleach to water. Let sit for a couple hours. Shake or wipe and then rinse well.

    We like algae if it's good and green. The best use algae to purify water. You'll need a lot more oxygen to do that. So if you are going to leave jugs under lights start shakin.

    Keep a cleaner shop

    in most cases you have other bugs/molds

    waiting to crash you
