aircooled with outside air?

    I have an aircoolable 600w hps..Can i use air from outside to cool it?? the temp runs from between 15 degrees to 40 degrees ..or is it not good to cool a hood with cold air?..

    yes, you can cool a hood with outside air. The cooler the better unless it is making your grow room TOO cool, then you would have to figure something else out.

    no I have them on two separate units one exause for the cool tube..and one for the grow room itself..cool tube comes from outside grow room comes from internal source

    What about in a few months, when the outside temps are considerably warmer?

    I'm planning to do about the same thing with a 400w and control the growbox temp with one of these: GroZone Temp Controller I think the temp 1V

    Those are pretty sweet, I would rather spend $90 on something else though, like a nice duct fan, or carbon filter.

    i would use some sort of netting or something to filter out any un-wanted pests:rolleyes:
