Hi again,I'm at the begining of my second indoor, and the question is how is this bulb for vegetative period-is it OK or I need something in 6000K-6700K ? My plan is to use it for vegetation and to combine it during the flowering with my good old HPS Deluxe. Should work fine. Higher up in the spectrum, the better from what I understand, but 5300K should work just fine Wouldn't hurt to grab a couple of Daylight CFLs (6500K) for supplemental lighting 'round the sides to even out the spectrum. In fact, it would probably help a lot
Yes,couple of CFL's will do the job,but I have 400HPS+250MH in a 3x3 ft. grow space and I dont want to mess with more light sources.
