    Hey :smoke:
I germinated my first ever seed the other day using the water method for two days and then I switched to the paper towel method for another one or two days to get the taproot longer. When I woke up the next morning I noticed on my newly germed seed there was a little bit of a dark red/browny colour on a little bit of the root near where the seed casing was, but peering around that it was back to the normal root colour (inside of the seed). The rest of the root was healthy though (white). Is there anything wrong with the seed?
Anyway! I planted the seedling in a pot of 'seedling soil' with the PH of 6.8. It's been a day and hasn't sprouted, I know it should take longer than a day but I'm a little concerned, i'm a bit like a parent near a newborn! How long roughly should it take? Thanks!
I might of also put a little bit of extra soil over the top of the seedling, would this be a problem?
