Alright so i already know that if a cop asks to search your car your can deny this, but what if he says "it smells like marijuana"? does this give give him a right to search the car now? or something along those lines? Also what if the cop tells you to step out of your car for some reason? how could i respond to this, and/or does he have the right to tell me to get out?
If he smells marijuana he has probable cause to search the car, if you refuse he will call in the dogs.
Alright this sounds like a good idea. I dont even smoke cigerettes (in general) or weed in my car but i was just wondering what would give them a right to search the car...
