600w vs 1000w

    Does anyone have direct experience with using 600w HPS vs 1000w HPS? Is the yield significantly distinguished?

    I'm talking about 1 bulb for 1 tent (5x5x8)

    It depends if you want to light up the whole area. The 600 won't do that area.

    For a 5x5 area a 600 deff won't cut it, you can do a 4x4 pretty well with a good good but not a 5x5.

    rule of thumb....100w per sqft
