600w aircooled hood HELP!

    Hey just wondering how many inches should i keep my 600w hps aircooled hood from the plant tops?

    Put the top on your hand, under the hood at plant height, if you don't burn you are OK, otherwise raise the light...12"-18"

    Just don't get em too close! Wouldn't wanna bleach your babies.
