My legal limit is 30 in Washington state, in your opinion for veg and flower do I run 10 600's 3 plants a light or 6 1000's 5 plants a light or anyother ideas people have.
sounds exactly the same but 1000w can provide light for FAR more than 5 plants, even if you're training them and getting them super long... 1000w HPS can provide like 6x6 feet of canopy, so you might as well use as much as you can under em, eh? sounds like a waste of electricity.
You will be able to get around the same total yield from both if you do it correctly. However, the 10 600s will run you between 4 and 5 thousand dollars for aircooled systems, they 6 1000s will cost you about 2500 dollars. You need at least 7 feet of ceiling height to run 1Ks though imo.
