If I got a 48x48x78 grow tent, how many plants do you think I could fit in it? Using 400w light, growing in 5 gal buckets. OR would it be easier to use 3 gal buckets?
Each 5 gal bucket is 12" wide... 16 buckets... P.S.For that many plants in that space, 600-1000w light would be a better choice.
Unless I am mistaken, you have a 4x4 tent that is 7 and a half feet tall correct? If so, I would recommend 4 - 6 plants in 3 gallon pots.
4 in 5gallon buckets grown right with proper vent under 400w. It's possible to yield 2oz's plus per plant.

We use a 600 watt hps though, in 5 gallon pots if they are large plants and use 3 gallon for smaller ones (shorter then 4 feet when finished). Typical yield (for us) is 14-18 out of the tent every 8 weeks depending on strain and what size plants. We also have co2 going in there, so your results will vary. SignSmoker
