Do all of them have added blue spectrum? I'm thinking about getting this light and it doesn't say what kind of bulb it comes with (aside from the fact that it's 430w). If it's no different than a standard HPS bulb I'm just going to get a 400w ballast with Horilux bulb.
No, not all of them have it.. I'd email them and ask prior to purchase if you're dead set on having a HPS w/ added blue spectrum bulb. Aside from that, using a 430W bulb in a 400W ballast is not smart. 400W ballasts are designed for 400W bulbs.. not 430W. Ballast's have a pre-set igniter that is for specific wattage of bulbs.. if you do decide to rock a 430W in a 400W ballast, you do so at your own risk. Not worth it for the extra 30W. ~Experimentalist
