400w hps heat vs a 1000w hps heat

    I currently am running a 400 w hps in a closet that is 2 feet deep, 5 feet long and 8 feet tall. With my current ventilation it is running around 80 deg F. Rough estimate how much hotter would a 1000w be?

    Are you air cooling the light or just circulating air in the closet? If your just circulating air then I would imagine a nice bump in heat.

    It's gonna be a lot hotter bud, sorry. U can always add a/c tho.....
