I am now day 22 of flower.

Only issue at the moment is slight yellowing in some leaves on plant #2.
I will continue to use cal-mag and hope it resolves the issue!

  4. Forgot to mention they are 2 bagseed held over a year. Completely unknown strains

This is my second (hermie?) plant...I'm watching it grow really hoping no big sacks develop!

For the last week or so, I have debated whether i have a hermie or not. This is a photo i managed to grab. Some of the tops have slight uneven growth, but there are hairs regardless everywhere... I hope you guys can tell from this photo?

  10. Hey mate, great plants!

Im looking at starting my first grow with very similar setup, Have you used a MH lamp at all? how did you judge how high to have the light?

    cheers.

  11. looks good man i have the big brother of your setup.

nice to see some great results from it.

  12. Thanks for posting :)

I didnt use any MH. I have a separate small veg box i didnt show you guys...its about 2 feet tall by 1.5 weet wide with about 100W of CFL power. Good enough for babies and first 4 weeks of plants life.

I judge by putting my hand under where i think i'd want the plants. If its uncomfortably hot for your hands, its probably the same for your plants. Its generally a good idea to leave around 10"-12" with a cooltube it seems

  13. Day 39 Flowering
    Day 71 from seed~!

So out of the 2 bagseeds, 1 ended up most likely being a 8-9 week flowering time strain while the other is dominantly sativa and the buds arent quite as fat, although it looks way more frosty :D :D :D!!

    I continue to feed

    30ml Pure blend bloom
    5ml cal mag
    15ml grandmas molasses
    3ml epsom salt

    all per gallon...

    And now...the photos:
    Plant 1 (which was fimmed):

    Plant 2 (only LST)

Im not super proud of what she looks like yet, but like i said, shes frostying up way more than the other plant..already!

  14. Day 44 Flowering
    Day 76 from seed

At this point, its all patience. The excitement continues to grow, and so do the girls !!:hello:

I have a few photos to show you my favorite cola that seems to be crowning, and the 2 sativa photos of pure frost.

    The crowning Cola

The trichomes i was referring to before in the sativa:

Feeding schedules is about every 3 days and feed same nutes to both plants.

I looked under my cheap 4$ ebay 60x-100x zoom microscope today and saw a lot of milky but some clear trichs.
Its hard to stay steady with that thing but it works !! :D

I would think maybe 2.5 weeks left?

I'll slowly cut back on nutes from here on out i think...what do you guys think?

    I APPRECIATE FEEDBACK !

  15. Day 46 Flowering
    Day 78 from (bag)seed

So today I have begun what i've been waiting to do and that is FLUSH!!!

Only water sitting for 24hrs and blackstrap organic molasses until the end.

I see mostly cloudy/some clear trichs, so I think the timing is spot on :)

Since i have 2 completely different genetics, I think I will only be chopping up 1 plant in the next 10 days or so.

Both plants are giving off a great sweet-ish smell that is wonderfully stinky!

Heres a few pics of the plant i want to cut in 10 days:

there are about 7-8 of these colas:

My second bagseed, The sativa dominant looks extremely frosty, but has very small bud sites that are fluffy. The trichs seem almost identical to the first plant, but I will have to inspect a little more closely in the upcoming week. Heres a shot of her sugar :p
    [IMG]

Thats all for now, I cant wait!!!

  16. we all have to start somehwere and looks like you started right!!! well done man bud looks dank and theres lots of it xD

  17. Thanks!! ive been looking forward to next week for the last 4 months almost. :D

Originally i was shooting for 3Oz's, but with the strains i have, that wont be possible most likely

I looked under my scope today and it seems to be 80% cloudy, few clear and no sign of amber....although this was after checking only the tops and only 2 of em...so cant say for sure :S

  18. Day 49 Flowering
    Day 81 from seed

i've decided on either the 16th or 17th of feb to chop my fim'ed plant which soon seems to be ready for harvest...to be dry in time for my bday which is less than 2 weeks away :hello:

If only my camera was able to catch the detail of the sativa plants' bud development...it seems to have different looking buds at different internodes, but is the frostiest thing i've ever seen before..:confused:

Im stoked about the Fimmed plant with perfect top formation and thick buds. 5 or 6 tops are crowning...its awesome :D

I believe I will continue feeding the sativa since the buds are definitely not ready, and prepare a water/molasses solution for the fimmed plant.

Here are some photos of the FIM'ed plant:

When i was writing earlier about the beauty and complexity of buds in the sativa, here are 2 photos that barely sum up what i was talking about, but gives you an idea of the weird awesomeness of it all.
