I rearranged my setup ( hopefully for the last time) to have the most vertical space available. Lemon Ices veg day 27 Strawberry Cough veg day 17, I topped yesterday and lst'd. I might transplant to 5 gal pots soon. I plan to flip on Feb 1.
So both Lemon Ices appear to be showing presex, one looking male and the other female. Should I chop the presumed male down now? Or wait until I switch to flower to confirm sex?
This is a google image of pre flowers.. Mine zoomed in.. looks like a male and a female to me.. but I will wait. I pulled the presumed male to the corner, focusing energy on the ones I'm more confident in.
Lemon Ice is on day 38 of veg, Strawberry Cough on day 28. Lemon Ice was showing some discoloration on the new growth, I topdressed with bat guano, worm castings, azomite, and bone meal. Other than that, they appear to be growing bigger by the day. They're in 5 gal pots, I plan to flip in 5 days (on Feb 1). The other Lemon Ice, I am confident is a male; chopped it down today.
I pulled the root ball of the male out of the soil finally. After seeing this I think I should have transplanted to 7gal pots before flowering. Next time..
Flower day 16 I amended the soil with more EWC, alfalfa meal, kelp meal, azomite, and some compost. Watered yesterday.
Flower day 26 I amended soil for the last time. I added bone meal, bat guano, azomite, and alfalfa meal.
Flower day 34 (week 5) I selectively defoliated to expose the prime bud sites. Lights are about 12-14" from tops of plants. Temps 82 lights on, 66 at night. rH kept around 40%. The Strawberry Cough (right) is noticably frostier; putting off more smell at the moment too. Info on genetics says it'll be ready in 9 weeks. The Lemon Ice takes 9-10 weeks. I also had the shower thought of breeding the two in the future.. making STRAWBERRY LEMONADE
Flower day 40 (week 6) Strawberry Cough ⬇️ Lemon Ice ⬇️ I watered with molasses today, the lemon ice has been starting to yellow off bottom leaves.
