I just pulled the trigger on a HLG-600H Quantum Board light ($750, ouch). I opted for them to assemble it for me. I'm gonna sell off my Viparspectra 600 and one of my Vipar 300s, and keep the other 2 Vipar 300s to use during veg. The QB may arrive in a couple weeks, and I have about 40 days left until harvest. Do you think it will increase my yields if I put the QB in at day 40 or so of flower?
Nice!! Congrats on the purchase I’m not completely sure if that late on it will make a huge difference in terms of amount of bud but I think it is going to increase weight/density/resin production. But i am only speculating. It cant hurt right ️ Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
With lights i always go by how plant is taking it. Always start at recommended height then lower a lil at a time to find the right height

I've been watching your thread, I'm about 10 or so days behind you using a similar set up and am curious to see your progress, looking forward to seeing your harvest. You mentioned in your intro that this is your 2nd grow may I ask did you use the same lights for your 1st grow & if so how much did you yeild.
Yeah I used the same lights for my first grow. The big difference is I barely defoliated my first grow. I netted 9.5oz of dry bud and another 30g of trim. My plants were in 60-80% humidity during all of flower and sparked mold as a result. I managed to cut it out and get a dehumidifier before it spread. I harvested on day 54, which is too soon, but I had mold developing so I had no choice. I had to save my harvest. Heres a link to my first grow. It was pretty damn mediocre. I'm hoping to net over 13oz this grow First time growing - 4x4 tent, 670w LEDs, 4 plants, FFOF soil & nutes
Tough luck on the mold, I'm needing to run my house hrv to keep the house humidity at 30% my tent has a 800 cfm exhaust and two 77 cfm intake fans my humidity sits around 35% at the moment I'm at 28 days flower here's a pic of my grow I'd be happy with the 10 or so ounces you got on your 1st grow of course more would be better
