i am looking at a 250 watt hps from altgarden.com. i don't want more wattage than this because of my present living situation. how many plants could be grown under this if i veg the plants (under 80 watts of cool fluorescent) to 12 inches and then put them under 12/12? thank you. here is the link just in case.
HIGH All, me I wouldn't put more than 4 plants in your room. When it comes to safty...what's 15 bucks. I heard...never seen....but people blow bulbs because a little drop of water hits it and from what I hear...it wouldn't be fun to be around when it happens.
it aint fun. sodium burns like fuck and u cant wash it off cus it reactes with water and burns even more, u cant wipe it off with anything damp and u cant ring an ambluance cus wot u gonna tell them? and anyway ur to busy trying to put the fire out in ur grow room, cant really ring 4 a fireman either can ya. this is probably the main reason i dont mist my plants anymore.
