Okay, so I may be worrying over something that may actually be a great thing, but here's the deal: I have a White Widow feminized autoflower from DinaFem that has been growing in coco/perlite for about 18 days ago. The plant is about 2 inches tall and is already working on its 6th node. Its in a 5 gallon pot that was only filled up about 3/4 or 3/5. I checked the bottom of my pot today and I have some pretty thick roots coming out almost every drain hole. I guess my concern is that its only about 2 weeks into veg and I don't want the plant to suffer too much from any rootbinding that may occur as it grows. I know its not root bound yet, or even close, but I just want to make sure they can make it to harvest. Attitude says it should go from seed to harvest in about 75 days, so I'm a bit worried but who knows? I have fed CalMag, Canna A+B, and Rhizotonic. I'm thinking about stopping the Rhizotonic since root development seems to be flourishing.
A 5 gallon is plenty big enough for a autoflower. It will be just fine. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
