My amazing 6 week old outdoor blue skunk clone has been growing pretty amazing. In fact, a little too tall for my comfort. So I decided to LST her. That's right, bent her over quicker than you can spell PHOTOSYNTHESIS.... So far she seems to enjoy the change. The bottom branches are the tallest branches now and the growth shoot is produced more and more new nodes daily. Now here's my dilemma, because she's growing so fast, is it a good idea to start leading the new growth to the top of my planter and around? I'm using a 19 gallon tote bucket full of FF soil so that's a pretty wide circumference.. I've read about people making a letter "s" but I'd like to keep the stem as flat as possible to keep my developing canopy even. Ideas? Also, how does she look at this point? Pic 1... About 15 days ago before LST Pic 2... Plant grew from 4" out of soil to 8" in 2 days Pic 3... First day of LST (9 days ago) The rest are progress pics. I had to tie down again today and bend a few bully branches. The last pic is of the forever growing shoot.
A closer look under the canopy.. Although a good friend of mine told me to clip the lower fan leaves for better light penetration but I REFUSE. I'm getting excellent exposure to wind and light with LST.. I believe those are pistils finally appearing.
