Made up my first hempy bucket today, 3 gal bucket little over 2'' of hydroton in the bottom and 70% coco 30% perlite. Mixing that stuff up just felt good and looked good also. Can't wait to see how things go!!
Started my first hempy buckets a couple of weeks ago as well!!! One is 3/1 perlite/vermiculite and the other is 3/1 p/v in the res., then all perlite the rest of the way. Growing some LA Confidential... What Nutes?
just wondering if you guys drilled holes in the bottom of the 5 gallon buckets? and can you use things other than hydroton, or does that work best? thanks
Three Gallon Buckets, drilled hole two inches from the bottom and threw in a copper tube so I can slide a cup under to catch the run-off. Only used the V/P combo so far... Lots of people use different stuff, and seemingly, the results are usually good.
