I have a 12x12 spare bedroom they i currently grow in using two 4x4 tents. I'm looking to expend the flower room a bit. Looking for options on a design for this room. Keeping my veg in a 4x4 but make a flower room instead of a tent, unless when alls said said and done that makes more sense. I'm working with a 1k hps. I feel i can utilize it a bit more with a bit more space. This is in an apartment that i manage but still needs to be smell proof etc. I have all the proper equipment for ventilation and so forth. I do not have panda film or things for a new room yet. I really just want the height and few more square feet with out spending 400 on a gorilla grow tent. The red arrow shows where there is currently a hole for exhaust to my bedroom. The radiator (off). I want to cause allot of damage cause i don't plannon stayingn here forever haha. I have a few ideas circling my head but many heads are better then one. All designs, pictures and advice welcomed! View to hang maybe panda film with out s frame (utilize 2 walls thoug in a corner)? Or should i just get a 5x5? And keep it the same? I have a perpetual going, 3 rows of three, little over a hp off of three plants every harvest. I have a similar space, 12x8x8.5 and plan to do a perpetual grow. 8x4 flower 4x4 vegging = 12x8. Maybe you could do the same? Leave 4 feet of space to not pack the entire room. What is the height of the room? What is your method of grow? I was thinking of scrogging but i have a lot of height to spare (8.5 feet), was wondering if there is a better method of grow to yield more by utilizing the height i have.
Never went through with it man, haven't had a chance yet to set up the grow. Will be starting soon but ive reverted to considering a sog instead of a scrog. Leaving the height is a shame though. Ive been thinking to do levels, like floors of sog plants. 2 floors maybe 3. Would need some sort of shelving system.
If it's not your place, I might just get another tent, then you could have a mega-perpetual grow. What I mean is, you could have a veg tent, and two flowering tents either off set a few weeks or every plant at a different stage. If you're going to use that whole room for flower, excluding the veg tent, then I would run more than just a 1000w.
