10 qt pots?

  1. For my first grow I am planning on growing 4 plants in 10 qt pots. No transplanting, going to put them in right after they germ. I've heard that 5 gal buckets are best, but this is a small grow just to get my feet wet and learn how to do it. Will the 10 qt pots stunt my plant's growth? I am planning on vegging until each plant is 12-15 inches tall and then flowering. I know yields vary wildly depending on many different factors, but will I be able to pull any bud off of these plants even though they are in relatively small pots? I'm hoping for 4 oz but I will be happy with 2.

  2. I don't see any reason you can't get an oz off each plant in 10qt pots, provided the others elements are good: light, temp, humidity, fertilizers, ventilation.

  3. ok cool, I was worried that the plants would get root bound and I couldnt get anything off of them. I feel pretty good about my light, temp, food and ventilation.
