    It's actually the maximum price allowed period, so thats top shelf rates.

    On top of that, its not $1 its one URG Peso, which is the equivalent of 4.7 cents in American currency

    This isn't going to push drug traffickers out of the market at all, in fact this is just gonna turn Uruguay into a hub for drug smugglers. Smugglers will be able to make a 9 dollar profit off of a gram in the West Coast of America, and a 19 dollar profit on the East if they can get it out of South America.
     
    You know what that means? Cheaper pot... but nastier pot.
