With all the exposed wood I see, I suspect you will have a mold problem at some point.
Bend them over at 90 degrees.
Tie a line to the top and add weight to bend the plant.
Gradually at first so you don't break the branch.
Inspect daily. First signs of mold, yank it or cut it out.
